North Dakota Horse Park Reopens After One-Year Hiatus

The track draws 5,546 fans during its two-day opening weekend.

The North Dakota Horse Park in Fargo opened its six-day meet on Saturday.

The North Dakota Horse Park in Fargo reopened on Saturday after a one-year hiatus.

During the two-day weekend, NDHP ran 16 live races, including six for Quarter Horses. According to statistics provided to Equibase, the track drew 5,546 fans, including 3,550 for opening day. Handle on the track's live races reached $104,364.

NDHP's six-day meet runs weekends through July 31.
