Louisiana Downs Postpones Racing Due to Flooding

The Mardi Gras Futurity and Derby, scheduled for Saturday, will be contested at a later date.

Due to flooding which has caused the evacuation of horses from the Louisiana Downs' stable area, the track will not offer live racing Saturday and Sunday.

The postponement of the weekend's racing cards means the Mardi Gras Futurity and Derby for state-breds will be run at a later date.
