AJs High Joins Poll
Eastex winner joins the top 10.
March 15, 2016
The season's second AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll once again was topped by Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) hero Moonist. He maintained a similar margin to last week's balloting over No. 2 Moonin The Eagle. In fact, the same top 6 of the poll continued for the second straight week.
The new face to the rankings checked in at No. 7 with AJs High. The Oklahoma-bred won Sunday's Eastex Stakes (G2) at Remington Park to earn his spot in the poll. While the Eastex was the 4-year-old debut for the Apolllitcal Jess gelding, it was his sixth career stakes win. AJs High now has become a major stakes winner at ages 2, 3 and 4.
The AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll is released every Wednesday though the end of the calendar year and will include national 2-year-old rankings later this spring.
