RIDE TV To Televise Ruidoso Futurity, Derby Trials

The trials will be held Friday-Sunday at Ruidoso Downs.

RIDE TV will telecast this weekend's Ruidoso Futurity and Derby trials.

RIDE TV will carry the trials to the Grade 1, $1 million Ruidoso Futurity and the Grade 1,$1,040,000 Ruidoso Derby live beginning on Friday from Ruidoso Downs.
 
The Ruidoso Futurity trials are on Friday and Saturday with a 12:30 p.m. (MDT) first post time for the 15 trials each day. The 14 Ruidoso Derby trials on Sunday afternoon start with a 1 p.m. (MDT) first post time. The top-two finishers in last year’s Grade 1, $3 million All American Futurity – Jess Good Candy and One Fabulous Eagle – are both in the 10th Ruidoso Derby trial.
 
RIDE TV goes into 4 million homes and is offered on the Dish Network on channel 248. RIDE TV is a 24-hour, high-definition network dedicated to showcasing the horse culture and lifestyle.

Hosting the program will be rodeo cowboy and rodeo announcer Anthony Lucia along with veteran horseracing personality Tom Dawson. Expect special appearances with quarter horse racing insiders, including retired champion jockey G.R. Carter Jr.
 
These programs are the first part of a summer-long relationship between RIDE TV and Ruidoso Downs. Also on the schedule are the Ruidoso Futurity, Ruidoso Derby, Rainbow Futurity trials, Rainbow Derby trials, $1 million Rainbow Futurity, $1.2 million (est.) Rainbow Derby, All American Futurity trials, All American Derby trials, $3 million All American Futurity and the $2.5 million (est.) All American Derby. They will all be televised live on location at Ruidoso Downs.
