Moonist hangs strong in the racing poll.

June opens just as we had seen in March, April and May in regards to the top of the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll for older horses: Moonist remains supreme at No. 1. The Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) victor is 3-for-3 on the year and has led each and every poll released this season. He continued to pace Zoomin Effortlessly this week by a margin of 102-94 in the balloting. The poll's big mover for older horses was last year's All American Futurity (G1) winner Jess Good Candy, who moved up two spots to No. 6 after qualifying for the June 11 final for the $1 million-est. Ruidoso Derby (G1).

As for the 2-year-old poll, Teller Baja continued to hold down the top spot. The unbeaten filly and heroine of the Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity (RG3) at Remington Park, Teller Baja holds a 102-90 edge in balloting over Kindergarten Futurity (G3) winner One Proud Eagle, who gained two places this week to No. 2. Just Call Me Carter, winner of the Sam Houston Futurity (G2), dropped a spot to No. 3 this week after a surprising runner-up finish in his Ruidoso Futurity (G1) trial.
