Chazaq holds at No. 3 in poll.

Despite a non-qualifying run in the $1,016,250 Golden State Million Futurity (G1) trials at Los Alamitos this past weekend, Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1) winner Chazaq held on to the No. 3 ranking in this week's AQHA national poll for 2-year-olds, trailing only All American Futurity (G1) winner Imperial Eagle and Rainbow Futurity (G1) winner A Revenant in the rankings. P and J Racing Ltd.'s Cartel Sixes topped the qualifiers for the million-dollar race set for October 30. There were no major changes to the Top 10 juveniles in this week's voting.

As for the older horses, Heza Dasha Fire narrowly held the top spot for the second straight week, 100-98 over EC Jet One in balloting. Jess Good Candy looms with 94 points in a wide-open division. No. 4-ranked Valiant Rogue can bolster his credentials when he returns Friday in the trials for the Texas Classic Derby (G1). Celtic Emblem moved back into the poll at No. 10 this week for the only alteration to the rankings.
