Great Falls to Run Five-Day Meet in 2017

The Montana track will add a day to its 2017 season.

Cascade County, Montana, commissioners on Tuesday approved an agreement that will add one day to the 2017 horse racing season at Great Falls.

Under the agreement between Cascade County Montana ExpoPark and the private Great Falls Turf Club, which runs the meet, Cascade County will pay the Turf Club $62,500 for purses for five days of racing.

The Great Falls meet will open on Friday, July 21.
