Bodacious Eagle remains atop AQHA Racing Poll.
April 11, 2017
With a light stakes schedule over the past week, the second AQHA Racing National Poll of the year saw only minor changes and the top two horses remained unchanged. Bodacious Eagle, winner of the Eastex Stakes (G2) and Leo Stakes (G1) at Remington Park, maintained a firm hold on the top spot and was the unanimous choice among the 10 voters, with a maximum of 100 points.
Reigning world champion Jessies First Down, who won a trial for the April 22 Bank of America Sam Houston Championship Challenge (G2) in his only start this year, held the second spot again this week.
BH Lisas Boy, winner of the Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1), inched up slightly from last week’s poll to take the third spot.
The first poll for 2-year-olds will be released May 3.
