Eight Quarter Horse Stakes on Tap for SunRay Park Meet

SunRay Park in Farmington, New Mexico, opens its 36-day season on Friday.

Eight American Quarter Horse stakes worth approximately $400,000 in purses will be on tap during SunRay Park's 36-day Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse meet, which opens on Friday.

Located in Farmington, New Mexico, SunRay Park will offer live racing on a Friday-through-Monday schedule through closing day, June 19. Post times are 1:15 p.m. (MDT) Saturdays and Sundays and 3 p.m. Mondays and Fridays.

SunRay Park's Quarter Horse stakes schedule will be topped by its two richest races, the 350-yard, $100,000-est. New Mexico Breeders' Futurity (RG3) for state-bred 2-year-olds on May 14, and the 350-yard, $80,000-est. Four Corners Futurity on June 18.
