Trinity Meadows Racetrack to be Razed, Redeveloped
The track held its last races in 1996.

Trinity Meadows Racetrack in Willow Park, Texas, will be torn down in September.
Wilks Development, owners of the property, told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that memories of the track would live on as it transforms the property into a mixed-use development.
Trinity Meadows has a rich history in American Quarter Horse racing, as the inaugural Texas Classic Futurity and Texas Classic Derby were run there in 1993.
