A positive Clenbuterol test will keep Heza Streakin Legacy out of the September 4 All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs.

Heza Streakin Legacy was not allowed to be entered back in the September 4, $3-million All American Futurity (G1) at Ruidoso Downs due to a positive hair test for clenbuterol during an out-of-competition testing program in New Mexico.

Heza Streakin Legacy was the second-fastest qualifier on the first day of trials for the All American. His spot was opened to Rancho La Cobra's Dash For Stone, the sixth-fastest qualifier on the first day of trials.

“We decided the best thing to do for Quarter Horse racing was to have a 10-horse field for the world’s richest (Quarter Horse) race,” said New Mexico Racing Commission Executive Director Ismael "Izzy" Trejo.
