Racehorse trainer Robert Dimmit has pleaded no contest to five counts of animal abuse.

Oklahoma racehorse trainer Robert Dimmit has pleaded no contest to five counts of animal abuse.

For more than 18 months, Dimmit, 58, claimed to be not guilty, but according to a report in the Sequoyah County Times, Dimmit changed his plea in front of District Judge Jeff Payton on Monday.
