California HRB Approves Medication-Based Race Conditions
The board took this action at its monthly meeting on Thursday.

The California Horse Racing Board has unanimously passed a measure allowing races to be run with medication-based conditions.
Under the approved new amendment, racing secretaries at California tracks, including Los Alamitos, can now establish medication-based eligibility conditions, as long as the conditions are agreed to in advance by the acknowledged horsemen's associations.
