Learn how to handicap with the help of the Wrangler Racing Aces

Want to learn how to win money? The Wrangler Racing Aces are here to help!

Martha Claussen will visit Delta Downs in Vinton, Louisiana, on Friday, June 9.

Handicapping is the art of wagering on horse races, and top handicappers can make money wagering on horses.

The Wrangler Racing Aces are experienced American Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred handicappers, racing writers and publicists, and want to help people learn how to handicap. The Wrangler Racing Aces program is sponsored by the American Quarter Horse Association.

The Aces’ visits to racetracks involve free educational opportunities and promotions, including handicapping seminars, paddock previews, racing handouts and tip sheets, giveaway items, betting vouchers and one-on-one handicapping help.

Delta Downs is in the middle of its 46-day Quarter Horse racing season. On Friday, June 9, Claussen will join track announcer Don Stevens for analysis of each of the races, including trials for the Firecracker Derby. To bridge the gap and garner interest from Thoroughbred players, Stevens and Claussen will also discuss the field for the 2017 Belmont Stakes, which will be contested on Saturday, June 10.

For new fans, there will be a free tip sheet, handicapping materials and giveaway items, courtesy of AQHA. Throughout the evening, Claussen looks forward to meeting fans and answering any questions about Quarter Horse racing and how to place a wager.
