Betty Lou Shebester died September 25.

Betty Lou Shebester of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, was born to George W. and Ada (Wilson) Turnbow on July 18, 1930, in Bennington, Oklahoma and passed from this life on September 25, 2017 at her home at the age of 87 years.

Betty grew up and attended school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she also attended Draughns Business College. Betty farmed, ranched and had a successful Quarter Horse business. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening. She and her family always enjoyed time spent at their annual Easter hunt and cow patty throwing contest. Betty was a member of Eastern Gate Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association.

3 grandchildren: Travis Shebester and Tiffani of Lindsay, Oklahoma
                         Kevin Shebester and Crystie of Alex, Oklahoma
                         Sage TeBeest and Matthew of Wamego, Kansas
7 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Shy Anne, Cooper, Ashton, Josiah, Konner and Xander
Cousin: Anita Penn

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Eastern Gate Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Oklahoma with Rev. William Fuentes officiating. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send a condolence to the family at
