A celebration of the life of Tom "Mongoose" McEwen will be held on Saturday, July 14, at the Sheraton Conference Center at 601 West McKinley Avenue in Pomona, California.

The celebration will begin at 2 p.m. (PDT). McEwen, 81, died at his home on June 10. A longtime breeder of racing Quarter Horses whose homebreds included champion 2004 champion aged horse Mongoose Jet Eye, Mc Ewen is also a member of the Drag Racing Hall of Fame and Motorsports Hall of Fame.
