Horse Player NOW's industry leading national fan education and player development program, begins its eighth season on Tuesday, March 13, at 8:30 p.m. EDT. Each episode's live premiere will occur at the same time on the second Tuesday of every month for the remainder of 2018. Live lessons and archived lessons can be accessed at www.horseplayernow.com.

The 2018 Night School season will be brought to racing fans free each month by title sponsors American Quarter Horse Association, Keeneland Select, Woodbine Entertainment Group, Brisnet.com, TwinSpires, Remington Park and Xpressbet.

"We are thankful for the support of all of our Night School title sponsors," said Horse Player NOW General Manager Brian W. Spencer. "This program was created as a vehicle for fan education and player development for horseplayers at all levels, and our Night School partners have always shared that commitment."

New this season, horseplayers everywhere will be encouraged to act as the "School Board" for the Night School team in creating lesson plans by providing monthly topics. Those topics will then be discussed and applied to wagering techniques by a roundtable from Horse Player NOW and rotating weekly guests.

This season's roundtable will be hosted by Horse Player NOW Owner Jeremy Plonk, who returns for his eighth season of Night School. He will be joined by TVG and Horse Player NOW's Caton Bredar and "The Dean" Jerry Shottenkirk, both of whom will also participate in their eighth season of the program. They will be joined for the first time this season by longtime NBC Sports broadcaster Bob Neumeier and Brian W. Spencer. SiriusXM radio host Steve Byk will participate in a weekly segment in his sixth season of Night School.

Listeners are encouraged to submit topics for each month's Night School episode in a number of ways. Topics may be submitted via Twitter using the hashtag #NightSchoolBoard or via direct message to the @HorsePlayerNOW account. Submissions may also be emailed to brianwspencer@horseplayernow.com or posted on the Horse Player NOW wall on Facebook.

Night School mixes podcasts with simultaneous interactive chats with racing experts and listeners. It's free to join in live or via the always-accessible archives. Hundreds of past Night School guests and topics are available via the expansive Night School library for horseplayers to utilize at their leisure.

Listeners who wish to take part in the free lessons and chat can do so by visiting Horseplayernow.com. Archived lessons are available at the website as well as through the Horse Player NOW account on iTunes. Social media logins for Facebook or Twitter can be used in the live chat, or fans can create their own handle to use - or simply listen in and watch anonymously. Those who log in and register are eligible for personalized Night School diplomas and season-ending prizes.
