Ruidoso Downs Bans All American Futurity-Winning Trainer

Ruidoso Downs Racetrack has barred trainer James Padgett II from participating in its 2018 meet.

Trainer James Padgett II, the trainer of 2017 All American Futurity (G1) winner Fly Baby Fly, has been told by Ruidoso Downs Racetrack management that he will not be able to participate in the track's 2018 meet, which opens May 25.

Jeff True, president and general manager of All American Ruidoso Downs (AARD), recently sent a letter to Padgett saying he will be denied entry to the grounds and “from participating in any racing activities involved therein.”
