RACE RECORD: A qualifier to last year’s Rainbow Futurity (G1), this year Wagon Chick V – along with fellow qualifers PYC Fun N Fancy and Fast Prize Rumor – contested the Heritage Place Derby (G3) and then was second in the Corona Cartel Derby (R), a consolation for the Rainbow Derby (G1).

 

She sprinted clear in her All American Derby trial, winning by 1 ¼ lengths.

BREEDER: Sammy Valeriano’s Valeriano Racing Stables is based in Odessa, Texas, and has since 2015 bred the earners of more than $744,000, headlined by Wagon On Fire V’s West Texas Derby (G3) victory earlier this year.

 

Valeriano also bred and owns All American Futurity finalist Im Jess Special V.

The 15-year-old son of Corona Cartel is owned by a partnership and stands at Lazy E Ranch at Guthrie, Oklahoma.

 

Me Chickie was a talented racehorse, racking up $231,432 in earnings from 35 career starts.

 

She is the full sister of Rime Has A Chick ($271,222) and a half sister of Sixy Chamisa (by Sixes Royal, $350,095), who herself is the mother of Wagon On Fire V ($103,941).
