RACE RECORD: The bay colt PYC Fun N Fancy has won or placed in nine of 11 career starts, including half of his six races this year.

Among those this year was a win in the Heritage Place Derby (G3). Last year he won the Laico Bird Stakes (R), was second in the Oklahoma Futurity (G3) and third in the Heritage Place Futurity (G1).

In his All American trial, he won by a half length.

BREEDER: Madill, Oklahoma, breeder Weetona Stanley has created a tremendous legacy through the family of blue hen First Prize Dash, a full sister to First Down Dash.

In her own name, Stanley has bred the earners of more than $9.5 million, led by Grade 1 winners First Prize Leesa, First Carolina, First Prize Robin, Fast First Prize and Fast Prize Zoom.

QUALIFYING JOCKEY: James Flores has ridden the earners of more than $8.1 million and visited the winner’s circle 430 times.

Those visits include Grade 1 wins with Gold Digging Ashley, Sudden Separation and VF Red Surprise. He has also ridden graded stakes winners Time For Wine, La Vencedora, Coronas First Diva and Dicecapades.

PEDIGREE: Sire PYC Paint Your Wagon had a knockout day, with four qualifiers to the All American Derby including Papaws Paint, Peighnt Your Fate, PYC Fun N Fancy and Wagon Chick V.

Himself a three-time Grade 1 winner and earner of $889,581, PYC Paint Your Wagon has already sired the earners of more than $31.3 million, putting him at No. 7 on the all-time sire earnings list.

The 15-year-old son of Corona Cartel is owned by a partnership and stands at Lazy E Ranch at Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Weetona Stanley bred and owns First Prize Fancy, a Mr Jess Perry daughter out of legendary producer First Prize Dash.
