RACE RECORD: Undefeated in three starts, Hawkeye enters the All American Futurity with a maiden victory at Los Alamitos, followed by a non-qualifying victory in the Rainbow Futurity trials. He won the first trial on the second day by three-quarters of a length.

BREEDER/OWNER: Hawkeye races for breeder and owner Bobby Cox, who earlier this year joined the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame. He has bred the earners of more than $25.3 million, and not only bred but also raced the likes of champion and All American Derby winner Brimmerton, champion Wahoo, All American Derby winner Dont Let Down and Grade 1 performer Zoomin With Ease.

TRAINER: James Padgett II has trained eight winners from 56 starters, with earnings of $24,098. He is one of two trainers in the All American with two horses. He also trains Fly Baby Fly.

QUALIFYING JOCKEY: Jockey Rodrigo Vallejo has since 1994 ridden the earners of more than $21.6 million. They include 19 Grade 1 victories, including this summer aboard Hold Air Hostage in the Rainbow Derby and Eagle Jazz in the Ruidoso and Rainbow futurities. With five months left in the year, he has already earned $1.98 million this year, putting him on track to match or exceed his previous best year, 2008, in which horses he rode earned $2,286,174.

PEDIGREE: Another second-year sire, One Dashing Eagle attempts to become an All American Futurity winner that sired an All American Futurity winner. The sport's 2012 world champion after winning the All American, Ed Burke Million and Golden State Million futurities, One Dashing Eagle retired with career earnings of $2,079,065. His sire, One Famous Eagle, is also the sire of two of the race's qualifiers.

Dam No Fees was undefeated in six career starts, winning three stakes and earning $166,320 in her career. She is the dam of 34 horses, including 14 winners from 26 starters that have earned $456,025. Her progeny are lead by Sinuous (by Mr Jess Perry, $105,956).
