Jet Black Rogue is Fastest LQHBA Futurity Qualifier
The filly won the second of 14 trials Friday at Evangeline Downs.

Jet Black Rogue, a Jet Black Patriot filly owned and trained by Michael Taylor, is the fastest qualifier to the November 28, $1-million Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders’ Association Futurity (RG1) for state-bred juveniles at Evangeline Downs.
Ridden by Joe Badilla Jr., Jet Black Rogue won the second of 14 trials by one length in :19.923 on Friday. The filly was winning for the fourth time in six outs and increasing her earnings to $51,230.
Jet Black Rogue was bred by Triple M Farms LLC. The filly was a finalist in the May 15 Louisiana Breeders’ Lassie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.
The LQHBA Futurity is the richest horse race for any breed in Louisiana.
