A sharp break from his rail post helped TF Cajun Cartel, a 4-year-old Corona Cartel stallion racing for Ascencion Fernandez Jr. and trainer Fernando Carrete, score a one-length victory in Saturday's Bob Moore Memorial Stakes (G2) at Remington Park.

Under jockey Ricky Ramirez, TF Cajun Cartel covered 300 yards in :15.023 and earned a 102 speed index. The $29,730 winner's share of the $51,650 purse pushed his bankroll to $189,071 from 14 starts.

TF Cajun Cartel was bred in Louisiana by Steve Tate. A $35,000 buy at the 2013 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, the stallion has won six races, and his four stakes victories include last year's 440-yard, $100,000 Corona Cartel Stakes at Ruidoso Downs.

Houdini finished second and was followed by Mr Jo Eagle, Mavara Vegas, Roaster, Rock You, Jesse Jr First Down, Win Rabbits Fly, First Sweet Midnite, and This Wagons Okay.
