Competing in her third futurity of the Arapahoe Park meet, Who You Know earned her first stakes win in Sunday's 400-yard, $115,831 Mile High Futurity.

Who You Know covered the distance in :20.045 against a reported 8-mph head wind. Stormy Smith rode the homebred filly, who is owned by Thomas Bradbury and trainer John Hammes.

Who You Know began her summer campaign with third-place finishes in both the 330-yard Cherry Creek Futurity (R) for Colorado-breds on June 5, and the 350-yard Rocky Mountain Futurity on July 10. The filly's sire, the 11-year-old Mr Jess Perry stallion One Famous Eagle, was the sport's champion sophomore colt in 2008.

Who You Know is out of Shazooms Doll, an 11-year-old Shazoom mare who won the Cherry Creek (RG3) and Rocky Mountain (G3) futurities in '07. Who You Know's second dam, the Ronas Ryon mare Dolls Prodigy, won all three of Arapahoe's futurities in 1998, including the Mile High Futurity (G2).

"I think it was just her turn today," said Smith of Who You Know's performance. "I was high on her since she won her Cherry Creek trial. Today she was able to show how good she really is."

An earner of $75,858, Who You Know has won two of her seven starts. The filly began her career at Remington Park, where she finished third in a maiden special weight dash on March 26.

In Kuh Hoots ran second, 1 1/4 lengths behind Who You Know, and was followed by 5-2 favorite Bout Tree Fiddy, Rarest Ivory, Cubeta de Coronas, In My Dust, Tilt James, Flyin And Takin Cash, and Alegendinmytime.
