Jessa Louisiana Zoom won Saturday's Treme Stakes for Louisiana-bred 3-year-olds at Fair Grounds Racecourse.

Bobby D. Cox's Jessa Louisiana Zoom was a prompt 3-5 favorite in Saturday's $50,000 Treme Stakes (RG3) for Louisiana-bred sophomores at Fair Grounds Racecourse.

Ridden by Donald Watson for trainer Kenneth Roberts Sr., Jessa Louisiana Zoom went 350 yards in :17.388, and her winning margin was a half of a length from Corona Together. The brown daughter of champion Jess Louisiana Blue was winning for the sixth time in 10 outs and increasing her earnings to $605,107.

Jessa Louisiana Zoom was bred by Lyle Guillory. The filly sold for $22,000 at the 2014 LQHBA Yearling Sale, and her dam, Zoomin For Cash, is a winning 10-year-old daughter of the Shazoom stallion Azoom.

Jessa Louisiana Zoom's second dam, two-time champion Corona Cash, won the 1997 All American Futurity (G1) at Ruidoso Downs. The filly has won three stakes, all against graded company, including last year's $621,840 Lee Berwick Memorial Futurity (RG1) for Louisiana-bred juveniles at Delta Downs.

Zoominforgrady, Miss Mallard Struts, Super Sonic Patriot, Magic Black Jack, and Jet Black Rogue completed the order of finish.
