Making his first start in three months, Telesforo Perrett's Zoomin Effortlessly extended his win streak to six in Sunday's 400-yard, $350,000 Championship at Sunland Park (G1).

Zoomin Effortlessly stopped the timer in :19.349 under jockey Santos Carrizales, and his margin of victory was a neck from 2014 world champion JRC Callas First. Edelmiro Carrizales prepped the 5-year-old son of Zoomin For Bux.

Zoomin Effortlessly was bred in Texas by Tommy R. Charbula. The Championship at Sunland Park marked the gelding's first-ever start in New Mexico, and the $157,000 winner's share of the purse from his second career Grade 1 win pushed his bankroll to $280,401.

A $7,500 claimer in 2014, Zoomin Effortlessly has won 12 of 19 starts. His five stakes wins include a half-length victory in the 440-yard, $75,000 Refrigerator Handicap (G1) at Lone Star Park.

Because the Championship at Sunland Park was orginally scheduled to be run on December 27 and inclement weather caused the race to be postponed to Sunday, Zoomin Effortlessly's win will count toward 2015 honors.

JRC Callas First's second-place finish broke the 6-year-old gelding's four-race win streak, which included a one-length victory in the 440-yard, $150,000 Zia Park Championship (G1) on November 25.

Dashin For A Prize finished third, one length behind runner-up JRC Callas First. Jess Featureme Quick, Alis Jumpn, GRC Justplainazoom, Eagle On The Fly, Wagon Full Of Gold, Mad About The Moon, and Takiana Romanova B completed the order of finish.
