PYC Paint Your Wagon Filly Tops Remington Tuesday Training Races

Mary Paintyourwagon won the fifth of 10 schooling races against a stiff head wind.

Remington Park held 10 training races on Wednesday, and 10 more are scheduled for Thursday. The track opens its 50-date American Quarter Horse meet on March 11.

Mary Paintyourwagon, an Oklahoma-bred daughter of PYC Paint Your Wagon trained by Stacy Hill for owner LeAnn Burns, won the fifth of 10 training races at Remington Park on Wednesday.

Mary Paintyourwagon broke sharply and defeated Hailofadasher by 1 3/4 lengths against a 23-mph head wind in :13.50, the fastest winning time of the day. The filly is nominated to the $800,000 Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity (RG3) in April.

Wednesday's training races brought the number of schooling races held thus far at Remington to 52. Ten more training races are scheduled for Thursday. Also, entries for Remington Park's March 11 opening night card will be taken on Thursday.
