KG Johnny B Good, a homebred son of the Mr Jess Perry sire Jonathan Perry racing for Ken and Reba George of Caney, Kansas, is the fastest qualifier to the March 26, $420,000 Oklahoma Futurity (G3) at Remington Park.

Ridden by Cody Smith for trainer Loyd Moreland in the eighth of 15 trials on Saturday, KG Johnny B Good defeated second-fastest qualifier Coronas First Diva by a nose in :15.491 for 300 yards.

Coronas First Diva races for Sara Leann Morgan from the barn of trainer Charles "Duke" Shults.

Third-fastest qualifier Feature Moonflash, a gelded son of champion First Moonflash trained by Eddie D. Willis for owner James Sills, won the seventh heat by a nose in :15.559. Feature Moonflash was a $19,000 buy at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale.

Willis won a total of seven races on Saturday, tying the track record established by Rodney Reed in 2004. In addition to Feature Moonflash, Willis qualified 10th-fastest qualifier Good Captain Pepper to the Oklahoma Futurity final.
