Lucas Constantin rode Telarosa to a wire-to-wire, three-quarter length victory in Saturday's $50,000 Vinton Stakes (RG3) for Louisiana-bred 3-year-olds at Delta Downs.

Under showery skies on a sealed but fast track, Telarosa went 400 yards in :19.783 and recorded a 93 speed index. Kenneth Roberts Sr. trained the sorrel Jet Black Patriot filly for owner Douglas O. Traylor.

Telarosa was bred by James Ronald Magnon. The filly, a $30,000 buy at the 2014 Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders' Association Yearling Sale, has banked $193,807 from eight outs, and her four wins include last year's LQHBA Sale Futurity (RG1) at Fair Grounds Racecourse in New Orleans.

Telarosa's resume includes a second-place finish to Jet Black Zoomer in the December 12, $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile Stakes (RG2) at Fair Grounds.

Jessa Louisiana Zoom ran second and was followed by My Favorite Blue, Jess Blue Intriguing, Jet Black Zoomer, Special Coors Cartel, 6-5 favorite Jess A Saint, Zoomin For Grady, and Blues Favorite Fish.
