Harlow Stables LLC's Louisiana Jewels kept her perfect record intact with a three-quarter length victory in Friday's Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity (RG2) for state-bred 2-year-old fillies at Delta Downs.

Ridden by Gilbert Ortiz for trainer Michael Taylor, Louisiana Jewels covered 330 yards in :16.773 while scoring her second win in as many outs. The winner's share of the $298,012 purse pushed her earnings to $158,006.

Louisiana Jewels was bred by Jerry West. The filly is a daughter of 2002 champion aged stallion Jess Louisiana Blue and Jewels Fortune, a multiple graded stakes winning daughter of First Down Jewel.

Louisiana Jewels was acquired for $42,000 at last year's Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders' Association Yearling Sale. She made her debut with a three-quarter length win in her Lassie Futurity trial on April 29.

Fast Dashin Dee, Jess A Little Star, Coronas Prize Dolly, Dashin Swinger, San Lorenzo Lady, TDZ Wave To Me Baby, Corazon Dfuego, RDD Champagne Dash, and Im La Leaving completed the order of finish.
