Sarah Huskey's Fdp Rock Solid, a homebred son of Rock Solid Jess, earned his second stakes win Saturday at Will Rogers Downs.

A sharp break from post 9 helped Sarah Huskey's Fdp Rock Solid score a wire-to-wire victory in Saturday's 440-yard, $303,000 Black Gold Futurity Championship (RG3) at Will Rogers Downs.

Ridden by Agustin Silva for trainer Rick Robinson, Fdp Rock Solid made his quarter-mile trip in :21.702, and the homebred gelding's margin of victory was a neck from fastest qualifier and 7-5 favorite Aberdonian. The $121,000 winner's share of the purse from his second stakes victory pushed Fdp Rock Solid's earnings to $177,212.

Fdp Rock Solid is a son of Rock Solid Jess, an 11-year-old graded stakes winning stallion by champion Mr Jess Perry. The gelding's dam, First Down Payment, is a winning daughter of the First Down Dash stallion Deltas First Dash.

Fdp Rock Solid was bred in Texas, and he has won four of six outs, including the July 2 TQHA Sires' Cup Futurity (RG3) at Retama Park.

Knockemout Capi finished third, 1 1/4 lengths from Fdp Rock Solid. Dancing Capo Decapi, Shades Of Midnite, Tac My Prize, Cartelscandymachine, Fast Dynasty, and Baddest completed the order of finish.
