Bells Big Hero defeated a field of Oklahoma-bred juveniles in Saturday's $177,000 OHA Mystery Futurity.

Sent to post at odds of 10-1, third-fastest qualifier Bells Big Hero responded with a nose win in Saturday's $177,000 Oklahoma Horsemen's Association Mystery Futurity (R) for state-breds at Will Rogers Downs.

Bells Big Hero covered 350 yards in :17.590 and posted a 94 speed index under jockey Agustin Silva. Clinton Crawford prepped the brown son of Valiant Hero for owner Gregory Cullum.

Bells Big Hero was bred by the Terry Bell Estate. The gelding is out of Jess Big Time, an 8-year-old daughter of Bigtime Favorite who won two graded stakes in Louisiana from 2010-11, including the 2010 LQHBA Lassie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.

Bells Big Hero has won three of seven starts and has banked $80,606, and he was coming off of a victory in his OHA Mystery Futurity trial on October 30.

Multiple stakes winner Dicecapades finished second and was followed by Jc Wild Rose, E Catching Fire, Tempting Blonde, Pv Eye Desire Candy, Py Sea, fastest qualifier and 8-5 favorite Holds Air Hostage, Ms Prize Diamond, and Winnspiration.
