Rdd Lajollanfastdash Tops Louisiana QHBA Futurity Qualifiers

The Heza Fast Dash gelding leads the way into the November 19, $1-million final.

Miguel A. Aguilar's Rdd Lajollanfastdash, a gelded son of Heza Fast Dash and a two-time graded stakes winner, is the fastest qualifier to the November 19, $1-million Louisiana QHBA Futurity (RG1) at Evangeline Downs.

Racing in the 10th of 15 400-yard trials on Friday, Rdd Lajollanfastdash defeated second-fastest qualifier Fired Up Perry by one length in :19.536. Raul Ramirez Jr. rode the gelding for trainer Jose Sanchez.

Rdd Lajollanfastdash was bred by Richard Dale Domingue. He has earned $290,677 from seven starts, and his six wins include the March 20, 300-yard Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) at Louisiana Downs, and the September 3, 350-yard Louisiana QHBA Sale Futurity (RG1) at Fair Grounds.

Fired Up Perry is a Game Patriot gelding owned and trained by Guadalupe F. Tristan. He has banked $38,836 from eight outs, and he was a finalist in the Louisiana QHBA Sale Futurity.
