Separatist Colt Tops Hobbs America Futurity Qualifiers
Chainman is the fastest qualifier to the October 9, $300,000-est. final at Zia Park.

Benito Brito Arenivas' Chainman, a son of champion Separatist trained by Harvey Baeza, won the first of six Hobbs America Futurity (G2) trials on Saturday, and the colt is the fastest qualifier to the October 9, $300,000-est. final at Zia Park.
Ridden by Bonifacio Quiroz, Chainman covered 400 yards in :19.794 while defeating second-fastest qualifier Lethal Flight by a half of a length. The colt was winning for the third time in four outs.
Chainman was bred in Texas by Kim Kessinger and Rsg Racing Ltd. His dam, Ask The Question, is a winning daughter of Teller Cartel and is a half sister to champion Inseperable and Grade 3 winner Separate Interest.
