EOS A Political Win Tops Day One of Remington Park Futurity Trials

The colt made his debut with a 1 1/4-length victory on Friday.

EOS A Political Win, a colt by Apollitical Jess, is the fastest qualifier from the first night of trials for the April 22, $1,032,400 Remington Park Futurity (RG2) for Oklahoma-bred 2-year-olds.

Ridden by Ricky Ramirez in the seventh of 12 330-yard trials on Friday, EOS A Political Win defeated VF Zeus by 1 1/4 lengths in :16.947. Alfredo Gomez prepped the colt for owner Elite Oilfield Services of Perryton, Texas.

EOS A Political Win was bred by Rey and Celia Nieto, and he was making his career debut on Friday.
