Tempting Dash Colt Leads the Way in Day One of Sam Houston Futurity Trials

Kas Tempting, a homebred son of champion Tempting Dash owned by Francisco Javier Garza and Roberto J. Laurel, made his debut with a clear 2 1/2-length victory in the eighth of nine Sam Houston Futurity (G2) trials on Friday.

Ridden by Luis Vivanco for trainer Jose Sanchez, Kas Tempting covered 330 yards in :16.733. The colt is the fastest qualifier from the first night of Sam Houston Futurity trials.

Kas Tempting is out of Beaukas, a winning and multiple stakes placed homebred 13-year-old daughter of Make It Anywhere.
