Field Set for $1,032,400 Remington Park Futurity

La Vencedora is the fastest qualifier from the second night of trials.

La Vencedora, a daughter of Ivory James racing for Terry McLean of Claremore, Oklahoma, posted the fastest qualiffying time on the second night of Remington Park Futurity (RG2) trials.

Trained by Gerry McLean and ridden by James Flores, La Vencedora won the fifth of 12 330-yard trials by two lengths in :17.011. The filly, who was bred by Bobby D. Cox and was a $12,000 purchase at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale, was coming off of a third-place finish in her debut against maiden-special-weight company on March 23.

This year's Remington Park Futurity, which will be run on April 22, will offer a stakes-record purse of $1,032,400.
