Sent to post as the 5-2 favorite in a full field of eight state-bred distance specialists, Triple C Racing Stables' Im Mighty Fast responded with a three-length victory in Saturday's $25,000 Magnolia Stakes (R).

Im Mighty Fast covered 870 yards in :45.690 while earning a 98 speed index. Jose Rodriguez rode the 4-year-old son of Mighty Corona for trainer Guadalupe Tristan.

Im Mighty Fast was bred by Brent Cody LeBlanc. The bay gelding has won eight of 21 starts -- including seven of 10 at the 870-yard trip -- and the $15,000 winner's share of the purse from his second stakes victory pushed his bankroll to $88,380.

Game Own, Rakin In The Jax, Summer Motion, Shining Presence, Agoutis Snowplow, Sir Lucky Strike and Sir Prize completed the order of finish.
