Los Alamitos
Little Talks was a prompt 2-5 favorite in Saturday's $20,000 Denim N Diamonds Handicap for distaffers.

Racing for Steve D. Burns of Menifee, California, Little Talks covered 350 yards on a track labeled "wet fast" in :17.602, and her winning margin was 1 1/4 lengths from 9-5 second choice Bemused. Cesar DeAlba rode the homebred 4-year-old daughter of Favorite Cartel for trainer Mike Casselman.

Little Talks is out of Babe On The Fly, a winning 16-year-old daughter of Strawfly Special who ran second in the 2003 Golden State Futurity (G1). Raced exclusively in California, Little Talks has won eight of 15 starts, and her three stakes victories include the 2015 Golden State Million Futurity (G1). The $11,000 winner's share of the Denim N Diamonds purse pushed her earnings to $563,897.

One Sweet Winner finished third, two lengths behind Little Talks, and was followed by Lady Perry On Fire, Tough Broad, and Nymph.
