Hez Our Secret Gelding Leads Remington Schooling Races

Hez Our Prize recorded the fastest training race time on Wednesday.

Edited press release

Eleven 250-yard training races were conducted at Remington Park on Wednesday.

Hez Our Prize, an Oklahoma-bred 2-year-old son of Hez Our Secret owned by Preston Cloud of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, recorded the fastest winning time from 11 250-yard training races at Remington Park on Wednesday.

Ridden by Daniel Torres for trainer Clint Crawford and facing a reported 16-mph head wind, Hez Our Prize won the 10th training race in :13.55.

Hez Our Prize was bred by Weetona Stanley of Madill, Oklahoma, and he is out of the homebred 8-year-old Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Pyc Oh Whatta Rose. The gelding was acquired by Cloud for $15,000 at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City.
