Field Set for $435,680 TQHA Sale Futurity

Krash Course tops all qualifiers in Friday's trials at Retama Park.

Krash Course is the fastest qualifier to the July 29 TQHA Sale Futurity at Retama Park.

The field has been set for the July 29, $435,680 TQHA Sale Futurity (RG2) at Retama Park.

Martha Neverez's Krash Course, colt by the Corona Cartel stallion Krash Cartel trained by Jose Sanchez, is the fastest qualifier from 11 350-yard trials contested on Friday. Ridden by Jose I. Martinez, Krash Course won the ninth heat by 1 1/2 lengths in :17.568 while scoring his second win in three starts.

Krash Course was bred by Bennie and Terri Jeter. He is out of Rare Eye Opener, a winning daughter of Mr Eye Opener and a finalist in the 2001 Sunland Park Fall Futurity (G2).

Just Another Natural, the second-fastest qualifier, races for T.C. Flack from the barn of trainer Leon Bard. The homebred Furyofthewind filly won the second trial by one length in :17.639 under jockey Francisco Calderon.
