Sophomore Filly Shines in Wednesday Training Race at Remington

Famous Dash To Me leads the way.

Edited press release

Nine 250-yard schooling races were held on Wednesday at Remington Park, with Paragon Farms' Famous Dash To Me posting the fastest winning time.

Famous Dash To Me, a 3-year-old filly owned by Paragon Farms of Conroe, Texas, posted the fastest training race time at Remington Park on Wednesday.

Ridden by Ricky Ramirez for trainer Trey Wood, Famous Dash To Me won the eighth of nine 250-yard schooling races by a nose in :13.291 while aided by an 18-mph tail wind. The unraced daughter of One Famous Eagle was bred by Johnny Trotter of Hereford, Texas, and she is out of the winning Dash For Cash mare Dash Back To Me. Paragon Farms acquired the filly for $45,000 at the 2015 Texas Quarter Horse Association Yearling Sale.

Wednesday’s training races were conducted under sunny skies with temperatures in the low 50s. The next set of such races are scheduled for Thursday, March 2, starting at 11 a.m. (CST).
