Jls Dash N Fire won Saturday's $266,140 Louisiana Breeders' Laddie Futurity at Delta Downs.

Second-fastest qualifier Jls Dash N Fire played second fiddle to nobody on Saturday, as the Heza Fast Dash colt kept his perfect record intact in Saturday's 330-yard, $266,140 Louisiana Breeders' Laddie Futurity (RG2) for state-bred colts and geldings at Delta Downs.

Ridden by Noe Castaneda and sent to post as the 2-1 favorite, Jls Dash N Fire defeated Ima Gone Reba by a head in :16.837. Kenneth Roberts Sr. trained the colt for owner TM Ranch, which acquired the colt for $80,000 at last year's Louisiana QHBA Yearling Sale.

Jls Dash N Fire was bred by JLS-Speed Horse Ranch Inc. He made his debut with a three-quarter length win in the sixth Laddie Futurity trial on April 29.

Jls Dash N Fire has won both of his starts, and the $133,070 winner's share of the purse from his first stakes score pushed his bankroll to $139,070.

Tf El Whiskey, Atimely Touch, Piloto Shiner, Ll Tee Boug, A Canadian Chill, Mr Coco Pilota, and Sizzlin Blues completed the orderr of finish. Fastest qualifier The Cazador was listed by Equibase as a vet scratch.
