Ferrari James won Friday's $45,000 Two Rivers Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

Alfredo Botello's Ferrari James, a 4-year-old son of Ivory James trained by Kirt Clark, sprinted to a wire-to-wire victory in the $45,000 Two Rivers Stakes (G3) at Prairie Meadows on Friday.

Aided by a reported 10-mph tail wind, Ferrari James went 440 yards in :21.389 and earned a 107 speed index, and his winning margin was one length from 17-10 favorite Bye Byefreighttrain. Oscar Delgado rode the Oklahoma-bred gelding.

Ferrari James was bred by Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith of Madill, Oklahoma. The bay gelding has won 10 of 19 races, and the $26,100 winner's share of the purse from his second graded stakes victory pushed his bankroll to $211,432, of which $138,482 was earned during his sophomore campaign.

Divas Candy Girl ran third, two lengths behind Ferrari James. First Sweet Midnite, Shiner Blond, Freakin Runaway, and Boogies Special Dash completed the order of finish.
