Bringonthewave Takes Alberta Bred Futurity

The Wave Carver gelding maintains his perfect record on Saturday.

Dale Zukowski's Bringonthewave won Saturday's Alberta Bred Futurity at Northlands Park.

Bringonthewave, a gray son of 2006 world champion Wave Carver owned by Dale Zukowski, kept his record perfect with a dominating 2 1/4-length victory in Saturday’s $36,901 Alberta Bred Futurity (RG3) at Northlands Park in Edmonton.

Ridden by Ramiro Castillo for trainer James Doolin, Bringonthewave went 330 yards on a muddy track in :17.283. In addition to earning an 84 speed index, the gelding banked $16,605 from his fourth win in as many outs.

Bringonthewave was bred by Shady Lane Stables. His resume includes a one-length victory in the 300-yard, $18,507 Jerry Stojan Futurity at Evergreen Park at Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Bringonthewave returned a $3.40 win mutuel as the 7-10 favorite and fastest qualifier.

Shawnee Cartel, Llomars Dream, Atomic Blondie, Mr Eleanor, Marissas Marshmallow, Machete, and Thisbudsforyou completed the official order of finish.
