Two Track Records Fall at Remington

New marks are set at the 110 and 220 distances.

The annual Extreme Racing Day at Remington Park produced track records at the 110- and 220-yard distances on Sunday.

Bruce Allmty, winner of the Grade 2 Eastex Stakes at Remington on March 9, won a 110-yard, $26,500 allowance dash, the "Blink of an Eye," in :6.687, beating the previous mark of :6.784 set by Jakes Charming Jody in 2012. Roberto Meraz rode Bruce Allmty for owner Adrian Cano and trainer Fernando Carrete.

Also on Sunday, Ms Haulin Chic won a 220-yard, $30,000 claiming sprint in :11.547, beating the previous mark of :11.657 set by Smokin Past You in 2010. Ms Haulin Chic was ridden by Ismael Ricardo for owner Haulin Assets Racing of Greenville, Texas, and trainer Allen Hybsha.

Both track records were established on a fast track.
