Big Daddy Cartel Filly Leads New Mexico Breeders' Futurity Qualifiers

RF Big Daddys Girl tops the finalists to the May 13, $110,000-est. final at SunRay Park.

Frank Lujan's RF Big Daddys Girl, a homebred gray daughter of Big Daddy Cartel, is the fastest qualifier to the May 13, $110,000-est. New Mexico Breeders' Futurity (RG3) at SunRay Park.

Racing in the first of four 350-yard trials on Friday, RF Big Daddys Girl defeated Meleros Big 440 by a clear 1 1/4 lengths in :17.605. Jose Luis Enriquez rode the filly for trainer Fernando Carrete.

RF Big Daddys Girl has earned $1,800 from two outs. The filly is out of Rfjabbasair, a 10-year-old winning daughter of the First Down Dash stallion Dashair.
