Field Set for $283,715 Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity

Rogue One set the fastest qualifying time on Friday.

Rogue One, a daughter of Heza Fast Dash owned by Rogue Equine LLC, on Friday set the fastest qualifying time for the May 18, $283,715 Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.

Ridden by Everardo Rodriguez for trainer Martin Trejo, Rogue One won the fourth of 13 330-yard trials by three-quarters of a length in :16.756. The filly was making her career debut.

Rogue One was bred by Triple M Farms LLC and was a $100,000 purchase at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale. The filly is out of Miss Jess Rogue, a winning and graded stakes placed daughter of champion Mr Jess Perry.

Second-fastest qualifier Eysa Jess Jumpn broke herr maiden with a 1 1/2-length victory in the 13th heat. Ridden by Guadalupe Lucio Jr. for owner Jose Estrada Quarter Horses and trainer Josue Huitron, the Heza Fast Dash filly covered 330 yards in :16.786.

Eysa Jess Jumpn was bred by D & S Racing LLC and was an $11,000 yearling buy.
