Washita Jack Tops Remington Training Races

The Inseperable colt won the fifth of six schooling races on Wednesday.

Andrew Smith's Washita Jack recorded the fastest winning time on Wednesday, the first day of training races at Remington Park.

Prepped by Luis Villafranco and ridden under wraps by Mario Delgado, Washita Jack won the fifth of six 250-yard schooling races by a half of a length in :13.86. All six races were conducted with a 10-mph tail wind on a fast track.

Washita Jack is an Oklahoma-bred colt by champion Inseperable out of the winning 21-year-old First Down Dash mare Sweet Sister Bubbles.

Six more 250-yard training races will be contested at Remington Park on Thursday, starting at 11 a.m. (CST). Click here to access the entries.
