Jessstreakinforcash, an Oklahoma-bred daughter of Apollitical Jess, won the first of eight 250-yard training races at Remington Park on Wednesday.

Racing for Trey Malechek of Bryan, Texas, Jessstreakinforcash defeated Symbol Of Faith by a head in :13.691 against a reported 15-mph head wind, the fastest winning time of the day. James Flores rode the filly for trainer R.L. "Rick" Robinson.

Jessstreakinforcash was bred by Terry and Irene Stennett of Odessa, Texas. A $16,000 yearling purchase at last year's Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale, she is out of Streakin Cash Corona, a winning 10-year-old daughter of the Holland Ease stallion Corona Cartel. Her second dam, the First Down Dash mare First Down Runner, won the 2005 Southern California Derby (G1) at Los Alamitos and ran third in the '04 Ruidoso Futurity (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

Remington Park's schooling races will continue on Thursday, March 1, starting at 11 a.m. (CST). Click here for a list of entries. The track's 50-date spring meet opens March 9.
